The Signs That Stars Send -Prologue-

A cold wind blew as four cats stood around a shimmering pool.One of them,a black tabby she-cat,stood forward looking into the pool."Who is getting Nightwhisker?" the she-cat said,grief was heard in her croaky voice as she said the words."Me,Cinderstar" a young tom,golden with a ginger tipped tail and four white paws with a scar across his face."I am glad it is you to go get my son,young Gingertail..." the old leader said in grief.Gingertail dipped his large head at the praise."I am honored Cinderstar".He looked into Cinderstar's green eyes the other two cats,a ginger tabby tom with a white muzzle and a pale gray she-cat with black stripes,lay down next to the pool they looked as old as Cinderstar yet they were younger they were just tired."I am sorry you had to come to Starclan's ranks so early you two,it wasn't fair that he should have let that brute torture you to death but understand that you are respected here you will never be treated like that again,I promise you that"A reddish ginger she-cat stepped through the long grass down a steep slope."Barkpaw and Frostpaw you are not staying apprentices forever we are making you proud warriors" Barkpaw and Frostpaw perked their bleeding ears up."I Scorchstar leader of Thunderclan makes you,Barkpaw,a warrior on this night to show how loyal you were to your clan.From this moment on you shall be known as Barkclaw I know you will be loyal to your new clan,Starclan,as much as you were Thunderclan."
Scorchstar yowled loudly so the ringing stayed in the clearing for at least a moment longer.
"And I Cinderstar leader of Riverclan makes you,Frostpaw,a warrior on this night to show how loyal you were to your clan.From this moment on you shall be known as Frostpetal."
The new warriors bowed their heads to each leader,Cinderstar turned to Ginger tail who was silent through all of this."Go get him now please."Gingertail dipped his head to the leader."Well done you two"the warrior purred.With that he left swiftly.
"Now you two,go and find your parents,Scorchstar,will you take them?" The older she-cat dipped her head and led the apprentices away.Cinderstar,left alone,gazed in the pool for one last moment and then padded the opposite way across the clearing into some reeds where she curled in a nest made already and fell asleep.
